Why would I buy a Chinese built forklift?
4 of the world’s top 20 industrial lift truck suppliers are based in China while many others have invested millions building giant manufacturing plants there including: Toyota, Yale, Linde (China) Forklift Truck Corp, Hyster China, Mitsubishi Heavy Industries Forklifts (Dalian) Co. Ltd, Caterpillar China, Crown, Manitou, Nichiyu and Jungheinrich.
China also has a growing reputation for quality engineering trusted by other international icons like Toyota, BMW, General Motors and Volkswagen who now manufacture motor vehicles there.
China’s forklift sales grew by 35% per annum from 2003 to 2007 then by 10.3% in 2008 during the GFC and is now the world’s largest supplier since 2011 i.e. “Everything is made in China these days…”
Our Chinese Enforcer or Maximal products have
passed the ISO 9000 / 9001 / 9004 / 19011: 2000; ISO 14000 / 14001: 2004 Management System Certifications…
Fast disappearing are the days of Chinese-made forklifts being considered inferior, as indicated by the significant growth in the number of dealers interested in selling them worldwide.
Maximal Forklifts, one of the fastest growing Chinese forklift manufacturers, recently reported that it hit its all-time record high with 465 forklift units exported in AugustĀ 2012 alone.
Being among the top three Chinese forklift exporters, Maximal is making an emergence in many countries and slowly capturing a considerable chunk of the global market share.
While there are dozens of Chinese forklift manufacturers, the statistics have been very impressive for Maximal. The company now accounts for more than 10% of all forklift exports in China and is projected to soon be among the top 20 forklift manufacturers in the world!
Apart from quality and value for money, another reason for its phenomenal growth is the fact that Maximal distribution is handled by mainstream forklift companies worldwide.
Maximal forklifts are sold throughout Australia by ForkForce under the brand name Enforcer. There are now Enforcer forklifts in all the major cities of Australia including Brisbane, Sydney, Perth, Melbourne, Adelaide and dozens more regional centres and townships. ForkForce has achieved 450+ Enforcer users on their books in just over two years.
“If people had concerns about Chinese forklifts in the past, they are now well and truly accepted in the general market – and a lot of these Chinese manufactured forklifts are being sold by the larger, more professional forklift companies representing the equipment,” ForkForce Director Adrian Martin said.
Mr Martin adds the Australian market at ForkForce has certainly opened up great opportunities for Maximal, and the latter is quite happy with the number of forklift sales ForkForce has achieved for them.
With its continued participation in international fairs and events, Maximal is currently growing a very large international network. The forklift company has also recently changed from a large but modest factory to a modern-day production facility that’s almost four times the size.
It has now completed its second factory which is fully operational, with a third one to be completed in 2013. The final expansion phase will be its new corporate headquarters and Maximal is looking to increase its production output from the current 5,000 units a year to an annual target of 30,000.
