The Victorian Government has recently announced additional restrictions for Melbourne & Regional Victoria to slow the spread of COVID-19 in Victoria. These restrictions affect the operating arrangements for a number of industries and businesses.
Fork Force Australia is permitted to operate with a COVID Safe Plan as we provide ancillary services as well as the supply, repair, maintenance and rental of heavy machinery (including forklifts and material handling equipment) to essential industries required to maintain the health and safety of Victorians as well as support the distribution of essential goods and services. As a result, our Melbourne branch will continue to provide the following service to support Victorian businesses:
• Service (Preventative & Breakdown)
• Parts
• Forklift Casual & Long-term Rental
• Sales of Material Handling Equipment
To ensure the safety of our staff and customers and in-line with Government guidelines, we have revised our COVID Safe Plan and have taken additional measures that aim to minimise the potential spread of the virus.
Whilst our branch is operational and open for the above services, we encourage customers to deal with us remotely using phone, email and video conferencing tools. However, we also recognise that certain occasions will require customers to visit our branch, in which case, there are additional on-site requirements and procedures that must be adhered to such as practicing social distancing, Use of hand sanitiser and the wearing of face masks. Our parts counter will be closed. In its place, we will be offering click and collect services. Please allow 30 minutes from placing the order to ensure your order is picked, packed and ready for collection. We encourage you to contact our branch on the number provided below should you require parts for urgent/breakdown situations that warrant a prompter turnaround.
