Chairman of the Maximal Forklift Co. Mr Lu and his son Luke have visited Brisbane with their General Manager Mr Zhu and Deputy General Manger Mr Barry Su to award ForkForce Australia their 2012 Outstanding Distributor trophy firsthand.
ForkForce secured the award from among the 100-plus countries that Maximal exports to each year in North, South and Central America; Africa; the Middle East; Europe; Russia; Oceania and Asia.
Maximal was also visiting ForkForce to discuss its luxury, high performance model range of ‘A-Series’ 2.5-tonne, 3-tonne and 3.5 tonne forklifts which will be introduced into Australia from 1 September 2013 and will only cost the customer an additional $1,500 more than the standard model.
This premium ‘A-Series’ will feature a range of enhancements including a floating transmission and full floating cabin giving a smoother and more comfortable operation. The premium model also offers 25% faster lift speeds.
The Managing Director of ForkForce Australia Mr Steve Cunliffe said it was exciting times for the fast-growing, fully independent new and used forklift dealer.
“2012 was a giant year for us in our new larger Head Office at Darra in Brisbane.”
“We acquired the Munquip, Munlift and RJ Spence businesses; our hire fleet grew to about 500-strong; and we sold almost 900 Enforcers, Maximals and used forklifts in 2012. Later in 2013, we will close in on our 10,000th forklift sold since we first started business in 1999.”
“So winning the Maximal Outstanding Distributor Award has been a really great honour and reward for the last 12 months of hard work and constantly evolving our business to suit customers’ growing demands and financial needs.”
“So we sincerely thank Maximal’s Chairman and senior management for visiting us in person to hand over this trophy along with a rare and very beautiful silk brocade scroll.”
Maximal produces up to 30,000 forklifts annually from its factory headquarters in the Lushan District of China’s Zhejiang Province.
Maximal supply ForkForce with their exclusive range of high quality Enforcer brand forklifts – which have been specially purpose-built for Australian customers.
These Enforcer custom options include: 50mm higher head-guards (for operations with hardhats), gas-assisted swing-down LPG bottle reload brackets, improved load guards, upgraded instrument panels, superior seats and rear assist handles with a warning horn.
ForkForce’s goal in 2013 is to grow its hire fleet and sales of its Maximal and exclusive Enforcer brand forklifts by over 20-30% via their 5-Year Parts & Labour Warranties.
“We are confident about achieving these goals with the excellent customer feedback and repeat business we keep getting from our Maximal and Enforcer sales and hire customers,” said Mr Steve Cunliffe.
“Maximals and Enforcers are the best quality, value for money, fit for purpose, new forklifts that I’ve come across in 30 years in the global forklift industry – which is why they come with a 5-Year Parts & Labour Warranty on them.”
“This comprehensive warranty has given our Australian customers great peace of mind that they are buying a genuine high quality but low cost forklift assembled in China – the same country already producing Toyota, Mitsubishi, Caterpillar, Linde, Yale, Manitou and Nichiyu forklifts.”
ForkForce intends to buy in as many of these forklifts as it can, especially while the Australian dollar is high. This is enabling ForkForce to pass on exceptional buyer savings to its customers.
This is especially true with the larger forklifts in the 5-tonne – 32-tonne lift capacity range which (due to the huge savings), are selling as fast as ForkForce can provide them – selling 5 x 5 tonne, 2 x 7 tonne, 4 x 10 tonne, 1 x 12 tonne, 1 x 13.5 tonne, 2 x 14 tonne and 2 x 16 tonne brand new Maximals this month alone.
10-tonne lift capacity, automatic, diesel Maximal forklifts with a standard mast, dual wheels and fork positioner sell from only $68,000 +gst while 13.5-tonne lift capacity, AC cabin, automatic, diesel Maximal forklifts with a standard mast, dual wheels and fork positioner sell from just $128,000 +gst. These costs represent massive savings over the equivalent Japanese or European made brands.
“With over 400 Enforcer and Maximal forklifts in my rental fleet, the quality and reliability must be good otherwise I wouldn’t do it,” Mr Steve Cunliffe said.
