Materials handling supplier and hire business, Fork Source, has aligned its two business names under the one banner to form the new brand, ForkForce.
As a member of the HRIA for the past six years, Fork Source supplied forklifts to retail hire members including Coates Hire, Kennards Hire, and National Hire.
Fork Source believes this enhanced its ability to meet customer materials handling needs, with forklifts available for cross hire at a moment’s notice.
In November 2005, the company grew with the acquisition of a sales business, Forklift Sales Qld, which allowed the company to increase its business operations across the spectrum of the materials handling market.
With the acquisition of the sales business, Fork Source outgrew its premises and moved into new premises with large office space and workshop at Rocklea Queensland.
The new ForkForce brand was launched in February 2007 with the company establishing its presence through new advertising materials and a whole new look.
ForkForce will aim to further increase its brand equity with exceptional customer service through increased staff and service support and a larger range of quality forklifts.

Postscript: ForkForce Australia has since moved to its much bigger and more modern current Darra premises in late 2012 to escape Brisbane’s severe floodzone risk at Rocklea.
