Australia’s fastest growing forklift brand recently announced it will be introducing a new 13.5 ton Enforcer forklift. ForkForce Australia, the company which owns the Enforcer brand, currently has several units on order which will be brought in for
stock by the end of January 2013.
Operations Director Adrian Martin says this is a big step for Enforcer, considering not many other Australian companies stock brand new forklifts for sale of this size.
“When it comes to the big trucks, the main thing is that not too many forklift companies actually have them in stock” Mr Martin said.
“Very few companies put one on the ground in front of customers. Dealers only place an order of this big lift size with the manufacturer once the customer has committed to purchasing.”
“This allows the forklift dealer to play it safe and not tie up too much capital in an unsold machine out in the yard. However, for the all-important priority – the customer, it means a six-month waiting period each time for assembly and shipping from overseas.”
“So what ForkForce has done is ‘bite the bullet’ and take the risk to buy these 13.5 tonners into Australia then offer them to customers. So there’s no waiting period and no ‘imagination’ required. Customers can check them out in person before making such an important business investment.”
“Most of our competitors stock 7-10 ton lift capacity forklifts, but they normally don’t stock forklifts of bigger sizes”.
According to Martin, this is largely due to the high capital cost of heavy duty forklift equipment.
“Most forklift dealers will tell you to wait around awhile to have a brand new forklift of this size delivered to you. So it’s actually a big deal for us having them in stock”.
This bold move by Enforcer is in response to the growing demand among big company customers like mining ventures for a wider product range – particularly for forklifts with load capacities between 10-14 tons. The new 13.5-tonner comes with a 900mm load centre.

ForkForce is also looking to add the new 13.5 ton forklift to its expanding forklift hire fleet.
