ForkForce Australia has announced it will soon make available a new two-wheel drive diesel powered rough terrain forklift for its own Enforcer brand. It will launch the new Enforcer 2WD rough terrain forklift in the third quarter of 2013.
Two-wheel drive forklifts generally perform well in environments where there’s lots of soft sand, dirt, mud or other soft road conditions – yet are often a far more cost effective alternative than a full-on 4WD all terrain forklift.
ForkForce Director Adrian Martin points out that in most cases, a four-wheel drive forklift is simply overkill.
“It’s like those 4×4’s you see running around the CBD and inner suburbs. Even if the drivers occasionally want to go to the beach, they are not really required unless you want to drive up a rugged mountain in one.”
It’s the same with forklifts and the ForkForce director believes a two-wheel drive forklift with a big ground clearance and tractor-type tyres with the ability to dig its way through dirt and mud is probably the best value solution.
The Enforcer 2WD rough terrain forklift is suited to construction sites where good ground clearance is required. ForkForce has been receiving a healthy number of enquiries from construction sites in Brisbane, Sydney, Melbourne and Perth needing new and used rough terrain forklifts.
Some customers are seeking a rotator attachment on the front mast to turn and empty garbage bins around areas where the ground can get choked up with debris.
ForkForce sees this as the specific market for their new Enforcer forklift product and believes the new two-wheel drive rough terrain forklift will have a great future in their rough terrain forklift hire fleet as well.
The Enforcer 2WD diesel rough terrain forklift will be available exclusively through ForkForce Australia around June 2013. Call now for a quote or to pre-order yours today.
