Responding to increasing demands for larger and more robust forklifts, ForkForce Australia recently announced that the new Maximal 12 ton forklift is currently being developed and will soon be available in the Australian market.
Maximal’s current diesel forklift range features 1 to 10 ton forklifts as well as their 14 to 32 ton lift truck models. The introduction of the 12-tonner fills the gap between the 10 ton and 14 ton forklifts.
ForkForce Director Adrian Martin points out that, “it’s a massive jump between the 10 ton and the 14 ton forklift, not just in physical size and lift capacity, but in dollar value as well.”
“ForkForce has identified that the 12 ton forklift will fill that niche nicely in the Australian market and better suit customers who are looking for the exact forklift size for their needs. There aren’t too many competitors in this size range and after discussing it with Maximal, the latter has agreed to develop the 12 ton diesel forklift.”
The forklift will initially come with a 600 load centre and is in production at the moment, but will be available in the second half of 2013. While a few brand new units will be shipped in and kept on stock for sale, ForkForce has also ordered a number of these larger sized forklifts to replace some ageing equipment in its rental fleet.
ForkForce has also just received its first Maximal 13.5 ton forklift, with more units arriving in the next few weeks. Both the 12 ton and the 13.5 ton diesel forklifts come with fully air-conditioned cabins, quality engines and superior transmissions.
These new Maximal forklift models promise to be great value and priced very competitively, in line with ForkForce’s vision to provide value for money, fit for purpose, material handling equipment to its customers.
It’s not uncommon for large forklift dealers and resellers to struggle with lead times, so ForkForce is pre-empting customer demand by having these new forklift models on order already.
The waiting period for large forklifts ordered from other dealers often takes over nine months, but ForkForce hopes to offer drastically reduced lead times so customers aren’t kept waiting.
Heavy Duty Maximal forklifts are beginning to build a reputation in the Australian market. With their quality diesel engines, axles and transmissions, ForkForce has had these forklifts working hard in the field and their performance has been impressive.
Despite the fact these machines are yet to arrive, ForkForce has already taken a number of orders which is a clear sign of the market’s growing acceptance of these top quality Chinese forklifts.
