The fully independent and wholly locally-owned and operated forklift dealer ForkForce, has just become the official national importer and distributor for China’s Zowell forklift company in Australia.
The exclusive five-year agreement between ForkForce and the Suzhou Pioneer Material Handling Equipment & Technology Company – which manufactures Zowell forklifts, was reached at ForkForce’s new Brisbane Head Office at Darra.
It comes just two months after ForkForce acquired the long-running forklift companies Munquip Pty Ltd – established in Brisbane in 1987, and Munlift Pty Ltd – started in Toowoomba in 1982.
ForkForce had been selling increasing quantities of their own Enforcer brand electric walkie stackers and pallet trucks since early 2010, but this new agreement now formalises an international supplier partnership.
The major deal gives Australian customers better access to a wider range of electric forklifts including: walkie straddle stackers (1-2 tonne capacities), walkie reach stackers (1-2 tonne capacities), powered pallet trucks(1-2.5 tonne capacities) and counterbalance stackers (1-1.5 tonne capacities).
ForkForce Australia commenced operations in July 1999 and now offers a 600 plus new and used sales and hire fleet Australia-wide, while Zowell has been a professional manufacturer of warehousing material handling equipment in China for more than 15 years.
“We can supply specific Australian specs and their factory can adjust production to suit these needs, and we’ve been reassured by the dedication they’ve shown to their high quality standards,” said ForkForce Australia’s Managing Director Steve Cunliffe.
“Our aim now is to offer a genuine, value for money – up to 20% cheaper – quality alternative to the Crown walkie stackers and Toyota stackers and their current market stranglehold. I’ve been convinced enough to sign-up for five years and offer a Five Year Parts & Labour Warranty on their range.”
ForkForce is also actively seeking other forklift dealers around Australia for the sales and service of these new Zowell products.
